The GRE® General Test is a standardized test conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS) to measure aspirants’ readiness for graduate schools. It assesses verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills for admission to graduate and business schools. There is no specific eligibility requirement that ETS prescribes. Applicants, irrespective of their age or qualification, can take the test. The test scores supplement undergraduate academic records, recommendation letters, statements of purpose, and other qualifications for admission to graduate schools.
